## Which one fits your business?

Pick the list that sounds like your business.

### Choose FundBetter if

- You'd like one of our advisors to review your application and walk you through your options, rather than comparing offers on your own.
- You want a short-term loan or a line of credit and your credit is below the 600 that Lendio lists for those products. Our general starting point is around 500.
- You also want a merchant cash advance or invoice factoring compared alongside loans, from the same advisor.

### Choose Lendio if

- You want your application put in front of a network of more than 100 lenders and funders.
- You're early. Lendio's revenue-based financing lists 500+ credit, $4K in monthly sales and 3 months in business, which is a lower bar than ours.
- Your monthly revenue is under our $15K starting point. Lendio's line of credit minimum is $2,500.
- You need accounts receivable financing above $5M. Lendio lists up to $10 million, and our ceiling is $5M.

## A marketplace or one advisor?

Lendio's strength is reach. One application goes to a network of more than 100 lenders and funders, and it's clear that it doesn't make loans directly. If you want the widest set of offers to choose from and you're comfortable comparing them, that's a real advantage.

With any marketplace, or any lender that works with partners, ask who will actually fund you, who you'll deal with after funding, and whether the offer you see is the lender's best one. Who funds you decides whose agreement you sign.

FundBetter is a lender and funding marketplace, so we may connect you with vetted third-party lenders and funding partners when that gets you a better fit. Either way, you work through one of our advisors and one application.

## Whose minimums apply to you?

Lendio publishes minimums for each product across its network, and some are lower than ours. Its revenue-based financing lists 500+ credit, $4K in monthly sales and 3 months in business. Its line of credit lists $2,500 in monthly revenue. If you're a newer or smaller business, that may be the better place to start.

The thing to ask about a network minimum is who it applies to. A minimum across a marketplace means at least one lender goes that low, so ask how many do, and what the offers at that level cost.

Our general starting point is around 500 credit, six months in business and about $15K in monthly revenue. That's higher than some of Lendio's lowest bars on revenue and time, and lower than the 600 it lists for lines of credit and short-term loans. [Revenue-based financing](https://www.fundbetter.com/business-loans/revenue-based-financing/) and [lines of credit](https://www.fundbetter.com/business-loans/business-lines-of-credit/) are two of the products one of our advisors can compare for you.

## How do you compare what each offer costs?

Lendio makes comparing easier in one important way: you can see more than one offer, and its homepage says there are no hidden fees. It also says some lenders in its network waive any outstanding interest if you repay a line of credit early, which can be worth a lot.

Rates and terms vary by lender in any marketplace, so ask for the total you'd repay on each offer, on the same amount and the same term. Then ask what early payoff saves you on each one.

We don't publish rates, because cost depends on the product and your offer. We show you the full cost before you sign, and you can test any quote first with our [business loan calculator](https://www.fundbetter.com/business-loan-calculator/).
